CASIO TRYX CAMCORDER WITH 360-DEGREE SWIVEL FRAME

With a 12.1MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor, the Tryx should shoot very good 1080p video, and with a 21mm lens, it’s got a wide angle of view that doesn’t scream prosumer camcorder. Rounding out the features are touch focus and shutter, slow-mo video, HDR and 360 degree panoramas. .

MOTOROLA XOOM 10.1 INCH TABLET RUNNING ANDROID 3.0

Honeycomb tablets are dropping from the skies like honey from heaven, what with CES 2011 and all wrapping up over the weekend. Actually, like honey from a broken bees nest being ravaged by a berserker bear.

Sony’s NGP Handheld Heavy On The Tech

You know that crazy next-gen PSP (NGP) with multiple touchpads, dual analog sticks, and quadrupled resolution that Sony just trotted out? Yeah, it's got a quad-core Cortex-A9 and a quad-core Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX543MP4+ GPU doing the grunt work within. We've never seen a handheld this powerful. Then again, considering the darn thing won't be launching until this holiday season, maybe quad-core parts will be the least Sony will need in order to match up to the "super phones" coming up this year. We're just wondering how long any of these souped-up portables will last on a charge. Full spec sheet after the break.

Hacked Kinect does World of Warcraft

Motion sensing systems in gaming is definitely a trend that will keep gaining its expansion in the recent years. There is a catch however. A lot of popular games nowadays are not prepared for this kind of input. Or at least out of the box they aren’t. Guys from USC Institute for Creative Technologies, have developed a Flexible Action and Articulated Skeleton Toolkit tastefully christened FAAST that, as shown in the video after the jump, hacks World of Warcraft into a dialog state with Microsoft Kinect. FAAST is will not only work with WoW, probably with some other MMORPGs as well but what are those games is yet unknown. So are developer’s plans on the toolkit apart from that by bringing motion control experience to already popular games they are looking forward to help people recover from physical disabilities or simply shape up. The bottom line so far is that you can play World of Warcraft on Kinect.

Lenovo Ideapad U1 Tablet Runs Android And Windows 7, Includes A Dock With Keyboard

The problem with any good tablet, or any touchscreen for that matter, is the lack of a physical keyboard and docking station.  Plus you need a reasonably light operating system that doesn’t drain battery life and won’t drive you nuts when it comes to completing a task.
The Ideapad U1 from Lenovo is a tablet meets desktop computer thanks to its dual OS and optional docking station.  When docked the Ideapad U1 can provide a full blown Windows 7 experience.  When undocked (tablet form) it utilizes the Android OS, 2.2 to be exact.
Lenovo is promising an 8 hour battery life between charges thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.3Ghz processor and 10.1-inch HD multitouch screen.  There are also dual cameras (a 2MP front facing and 5mp backwards facing), weighs less than 2lbs and measures .51-inches thin.
There’s no word on a price, though it looks like this product will be specifically offered in China with a comparable version set for a US release due in the future.  Two price options will be available, with the more expensive one including the dock and keyboard.

Motorola Atrix Launch Date Leaked…Maybe

The Motorola Atrix 4G (check out our hands-on) on AT&T easily is one of the hottest phones to come out of CES, with its dual-core processor, the very cool laptop dock and the even cooler HD dock, which basically turns your smartphone into a mini-desktop computer with Firefox browser.
But one thing we didn't get out of CES was a launch date. It's possible we have that now, thanks to a leaked internal AT&T screen showing March 1, 2011, and the SKU of 65230. (There's a much bigger pic showing all this and a whole bunch of specs after the break.)
We say this launch date is "possible" above because AT&T routinely launches phones on Sunday -- March 1 is a Tuesday. That doesn't mean it's not the date, but it also breaks from tradition. That said, it also matches what Android Central Forums member BloodiedWraith mentioned a day ago. Right now we'll leave this as "possible," but it's starting to look good. Thanks, anon!
